Spandex Single Covered Yarn
SCY YARN, mechanical coated yarn (hereinafter referred to as machine package, abbreviations for SCY) is outsourcing fiber filament spinning and winding on the uniform, the core yarn spandex draft, is by the twist and twist (English abbreviation TPM), flat crisp fabric style is its main characteristic.
SCY Yarn Used
N40D + 20 d machine package, twist to twist around 600 as well, and N70D + 40 d or T150D + 40 d machine twist control at around 480. Machine package elongation also mainly determined by the spandex core yarn properties, twist is too large, the outer fiber cladding is too tight, the elasticity of spandex filament effect cannot give full play to instead, make the elongation decreased. As the twist increases, the dry evenness improves.
SCY Yarn Properties
In addition to the requirement of the polyurethane drawing multiple of the overlaying yarn, there is also an important process parameter which is the twist, which affects the quality of the yarn, the strength of the elongation and the evenness of the strip. Increasing twist can increase the cohesion force between the outsourced fiber and the spandex fiber, so that the overlaying yarn can be improved strongly. The twist is too low, the outsourcing fiber is loose, the coating effect is affected, the core phenomenon occurs, so the twist should be high when the mechanical coating is covered.
SCY Yarn characteristic
As the twist increases, the dry evenness improves. The twist is too small, the outsourcing fiber is loose, in the spinning process, because of the friction and so on the fiber along the yarn spool will move slightly, so the work has deteriorated.
